The Athens Veterinary Clinic has been a fixture in Athens since 1949. Originally built and operated by Dr. Marvin Phillips, later joined by his brother in law Dr. James Bratton in 1952, the clinic has served the Athens community for 63 years. Dr Erik Aanestad, a 1989 graduate of Iowa State University, took over the clinic in March of 1993 upon Dr. Bratton's retirement. The Athens Veterinary Clinic offers a wide range of companion animal services including digital radiographs, surgical and therapy laser, and dental services!
